FERGUSON, Mo. (CBS12) -- Some crowds turned to violence after Prosecutor Robert McCulloch announced the grand jury had decided not to indict Officer Darren Wilson in the shooting death of Michael Brown Monday. While covering the protests, a St. Louis news crew came upon a chaotic scene in a parking lot. An elderly man dependent on oxygen was reportedly attacked and run over during a car jacking in the parking lot of Faraci Pizza on Florissant in Ferguson. In the video, you can hear witnesses tell the news reporter an elderly male was attacked, car jacked, and then run over with his own car. Well the story sure changed since it was first reported.
It was first reported that they were in a Gas Station. The wife got out to pump the gas. He stayed in the truck. Another white car circled the pumps. Pulled the old guy out of the truck, and took the truck. You can find this account of things in the 482 post thread on Fergadasu. So which one is it. He's at a Pizza joint or a Gas Station?

I recall after the Trayvon Martin trial more than a few incidents of white people being violently attacked by perpetrators saying "This is for Trayvon".
This Ferguson situation will probably end up having more white casualties than black, just like the Trayvon Martin situation, but you'll really have to dig deep into the news to find this. |
