what's the point?  Just drink and have a good time, no need to make a job out of it.

I think in 2003 during OIF.  I dipped into a 5 gallon batch of wine for about 5 days straight.  Didn't drink it all but I was pretty soused for 5 days straight. Never done that before or since.

Don't remember what, but over $1000 worth of  beer and one bottle of dawn in 3 weeks. This was when I was 17 or 18.

never more than 3 or 4 days. the only thing that ever stopped me was having to go back to work (my whiney-ass employer tries to make a big deal about it whenever i show up drunk)

One week in Telluride on a ski trip. Drank around a case & 1/2 a day! Took a month to dry out.

Three days last year before my friend's wedding.  We went through about 6 twelve packs of Newcastle, can't remember what else we drank.

2 months.  Me and a friend were drunk every night for 2 months.  He had just broke up with his girl so we hit the town hard.  At the end of the two months our parents were ready to put us both in AA or something plus our pockets could do it anymore.  $300-$400 per  week sometimes.  It was fun as hell but always sucked the next day when i had to drive 45 min to work hungover and sometimes still drunk.

The longest for me was 5 days in college.

I worked at a convenience store in college.  You get to know the local alcoholic's habits.  One guy would drink a case of Busch a day minimum, everyday.  Another guy would buy 1 12 pack of Coors Light longnecks and 1 12 pack of Keystone Light.  Then he would go to the liquor store and buy a fifth of something.  We figured the guy was spending about $30 - $35 bucks a day on alcohol.  Both these guys did it for the 3 years I worked there.

I handled a DOA case about 4 years ago, the guy literally had nothing in his apartment but empty Domino's Pizza boxes and empty bottles of 1.75 liter J&B Scotch. We counted somewhere around 30-35 bottles.

The deputy coroner who responded happened to live in the neighborhood also, and worked part time at the local liquor/wine shop. He recognized the guy, and said he used to come in every other day and buy a bottle of J&B.

That's dedication.

Never drank a drop in my life. Seeing loved ones go on week long drunks will do that to you.

About a week after a woman I thought I'd marry left me.  Don't really remember much.  Buddy found me passed out in my driveway in 30 degree weather wearing the same clothes I'd been wearing all week and smelling like shit.  That was a few years ago and I haven't really drank much since, maybe once a month.

I started Dec 11, 1996 that's the day we buried my Mother.  It stopped around July of 1999 when I started dating the love of my life who is now my wife.  BTW I still will have a couple beers once in awhile but I have not been drunk since 1999.  It's so nice to wake up Saturday morning instead of coming to Saturday afternoon.

Summer of 2000 when I was 20 years old.  1 liquid cocaine followed by 4-6 beers per night for 2 weeks straight, and I drove myself home each time.  My 21st birthday was the last time I honestly was drunk off my ass.  After that, the novelty wore out.  Now I drink only for the taste and can appreciate the subtleties of the different varieties out there.
