well thanks for the help, i went to the k bar site and did some window shopping

Black KA-BAR, XXXXXXX sheath, serrated

should the xxxxxxx be filled with kydex or leather,

por's and cons of both, and as always your opinions, experinces, etc.

You going to get it wet? Jump out of planes? Rock climb and repel? Go with Kydex.  If you aren't go with leather.

If you are in an area of high humidity, note that leather (and the stitchings that hold it together) will rot.  Kydex won't.  You don't want leather in jungle/swap areas.
