I live in the Bay Area directly under the flight path for Oakland and SFO....

I have never heard it so quiet. Nuthing but the humm of 880.

I drive by Detroit Metro Airport every day.  Very spooky.  No flights in or out.

Reminds me of the Steven King movie, the "Langoliers".
