Well, if you're going to be rich, I'm totally going to start sucking up to you big time!!
Seriously, I wish scammers would put just a little more effort into their scams.  It's really depressing to see how little pride they take in their work.  (It takes about a 30-second web search to confirm that cocoa is not grown commercially in Australia.    - but guess what country used to have a huge cocoa export business? )

Try to see if you can get them to send a photo of themselves with a bucket on their heads, and a sign saying "I love TexRdnec"

Not as good as my last two:

1. A person who is very wealthy is dying of cancer, and wants to give their money away to the poor. But their money is tied up in Europe and they need my help to get it out, for which they would pay me a 10% comission.

2. An international league of assasins has targeted me for termination. If I did not pay the ransom demanded, I would be assasinated. I could pay the ransom by calling the office during buisness hours and receiving further instructions.

Check out www.thescambaiter.com.

They have a list there that you could add your letter to and let someone bait the scammer!

I actually just got curious about the whole cocoa production thing.  It was obviously a scam (and the reason TxRdnec posted it for our entertainement), but I KNEW that Nigeria used to be a huge exporter of cocoa, but I wondered if the scammers has actually picked a country that would CREDIBLY be another exporter, or were so lazy they just picked a country at random.

I guess they really were THAT lazy!

I mean, how much damn effort does it take to make up a plausible story?  Why not pick palm oil exports from Malaysia, or porn videos from Thailand or something more realistic?
