The one I got for $200 at staples isnt cutting it.  Any recommendations?  Preferably a way to get a used version of an expensive one?

I bought an Aeron since I work from home. I tried the local big store ~$100-200 chairs like you have, and while they worked ok for a few months, constant use really shortens their life. I've had my Aeron for almost 2 years, and it's held up great. No tears, squeaks or looseness.

It also helps in the summer since I don't have ac in my apartment.

Good choice.  I've had an Aeron for > 10 years.  Also no tears, squeaks or looseness.  I don't work at home, though.

cool thanks for the tips.  I recognize that aeron, I had one at earthlink in ATL when I was there.  I found a deal on an  "open box" one at madisonseating, supposed to be like brand new for a few hundred under the regular pricing I see at other places.

I feel that my ass deserves an Aeron, but my boss doesn't agree. My current chair is slowly murdering me.
