mine wouldnt load reliably and i sold it.  the feed ramp wouldnt push a new round up the whole way and the bolt would smash the side of the case.  glad yours is better.

I have one on the way––- the Yute model that will be for shooting .22 short in the yard.  Hope it feeds.  If not, I hear Henry Repeating Arms is double-good about making it right.

I picked up one just before deployment.  Got about 300 rounds through it and suddenly I couldn't hit anything.  It started off very accurate I was happy with it.  Started creeping up on a paper target and was finally getting hits at maybe 20 feet out.  It was key holing like crazy.  I hit up the company and they were quick to try and get it fixed but I was just leaving for this deployment.  I told them the deal and they said it would be no issue and that I should just hit them up again when I get back stateside.  Hopefully turn around is quick.  I have several 22's and enjoy shooting them a lot so I am definitely looking forward to getting the lever gun back.

I looked at them when they first came out. Plastic barrel bands. Do not like.

With shorts I had to cycle mine fast or the empties wouldn't eject. You sure can fit a lot of them shorts in the tube. Mine has been great with all kinds of LR ammo.

On the plastic bands...call them up and have them send you the metal ones for a small fee. Their CS is pretty good and fast to answer questions. I emailed them on mine, which was used, about when it was made and had an answer a few minutes later.

I do not have a single use for it that would not be covered by my 10/22 but man do I want a Golden Boy.

Have one.  Accurate and shoots well, but collects dust as I don't enjoy shooting rimfire.  Gonna give it to my dad.  He always talks of wanting one anyway.

I love mine. Eats everything no problem. I wonder sometime if problems are stemmed from sub par manufacturing of ammo not the guns...

Bought the youth model for me. No problems so far.  I share it with the grandkids some times. It has slain its share of whistle pigs.

My FIL has the Big Boy .38/ 357. Man that is a slick gun. And laser accurate. I'd like to get the Yellow Boy .22.

I finally up and bought a Golden boy. I haven't shot the 10/22 since.
I lost count a couple of k rounds ago. I can't recall any issues with any ammo.
I probably shoot CB shorts more than anything.

Hands down my favorite 22.
