i bought a redcat black out locally and this thing is quick . It's a good little buggy. Last time i had an RC was when tyco made the Fast traxx. Anybody else in the RC world whether it be a car, truck , boat or plane? I saw the traxxas xmaxx and that is another beast with a $900 price tag

the video is the xmaxx though

Been wanting to get an Xmaxx for some time. Have to wait awhile once paychecks start coming in again.

I do have a brushless Emaxx that was once brushed. Stock 3903, Running an aluminum RC Monster extended chassis. Running 4S Lipo's and 6S for major destruction. System used is the MXL-6S

Pic's soon.

I really need to start playing with my R/C stuff again...

Cars, trucks, rock crawlers, boats, planes, helicopters, tri copters and quads. Not much I haven't flown or driven with a wheel or sticks in the last 30 years...

I have been thinking about getting a 1/10 RC4WD truck, and put an FPV camera in the cab.    But they are a little pricey.

I was surpised to see some RC stuff advertised in the theater before Rogue One.  They had a commercial for Parrot Bebop and the flying wing, and then for some really cool looking star wars stuff like tie fighters, x-wings etc at bed, bath, beyond, of all places (plus brookstone and a few other stores)
I have always been more of a model airplane fan.  So far just messing around with telemasters, progressing in size, and a radian.  I have a bunch of balsa kits, mostly WW I and classic civilian.  Mostly short/laser cut kits from smaller companies, like Manzano Laser and Dare/Brodak, and a few from  Stevens and Mountain Models.

I have about a dozen Associated and Traxxas vehicles in the basement, along with enough spare parts to start a hobby shop.  I haven't touched any of it it in 4-5 years.  I remember it being fun, but I'm just not motivated to mess with it.  I put it on Craig's and local F.B pages periodically, but it doesn't sell.  Kids always want things for free.

My Emaxx is on the left. Brothers is on the right. It's more fun when you have someone to run them with.

Mine is also stretched 17mm i think is what it is. If I run it like every week, I'm having to buy tires every few months. 6s just tears them apart.Attachment Attached File

Like RC but never went full bore.

Close friends were big into it and made a truly world class track in my hometown.

If I get one it'll be a slash for sure. Awesome little trucks.

Had one. By far electric is better. I got so sick and tired of trying to tune the carb on nitro.

I have a brushless axial wraith that's pretty bulletproof at this point.  I fucking love it but there are very few rocks in eastern NC so its only had like 5 packs through it in the last year.

Anyone considering axials 1/18 yeti Jr?

RC cars and planes were a huge part of my life when I was about 12-14. I raced 1/10th scale offroad in the summer and 1/12 scale on road (indoors) in the winter.
Then I got interested in girls and real cars.

About 2-3 years ago I got back into RC. Bought a heli, a quad, a crawler and a short course truck. Even went to the local track a couple times.
Got burnt out on it pretty quickly, now all that stuff has been sitting for a couple of years.

I got back into racing 1:10 scale touring cars.  There's a nice indoor carpet track near me.
