Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - iPhone 3G users: iOS 4.1?

I "upgraded" from 3.1.3 to 4.0 a few months back and have been wanting to curbstomp my phone ever since. Apple just released iOS 4.1 and it's supposed to make the 3G run faster, but since 4.0 - 4.0.2 were full of fail, I thought I'd exercise some restraint and research it a little.

Has anyone tried it?

installed it and it workd fine much better than the previous two upgrades
