I need ur help!   The wife unit bought me an iPad for Xmas and need some help with good useful apps. Paid apps are fine, but free is better.
Also, I ordered a marware ceo hybrid for a case. I forgot to consult here first, did I fuck up or is this an ok cover?

Thanks for any other help that you can give an iPad newbie!

ETA- I loaded, penultimate, soundhound and some games so far.

Get a styllus- the pen thing that you write on.  BUY penultimate, you will thank me later.  Great for notes and if you ever need to modify or use photos and take notes on them.  Really good for work.

What a horrible name for a product.  "Penultimate" = second to last.

If you want a fun / hilarious zombie simulator, check out "Organ Trail"... it's basically the old school Oregon Trail game done out as a zombie apocalypse game. I've been playing it all weekend.

Here's  what I have on my iPad - Netflix, living earth, drop box, my banks app, pandora, find iPhone and a bunch of games.

If you want a great game get toy defense, it's very addicting

I love my otterbox defender.  Dropped my iPad on both it's face and corner from waist high (accidentally) and it just bounced.  No damage either time.

Awesome start fellas. Thanks a TON!  I'm on itunes looking at ur suggestions right now. Thoughts on that case? I looked @ the otter, but it looked really bulky to me.

Reeder is awesome if you have RSS news feeds that you follow.  Kindle, Docusigh Ink are useful.

Oh, and beehive IM is great if you need it for messaging. Learn  to use voice dictation, you will love it.   It is not perfect but it beats typing out every single word.

I see you're in Florida this one is perfect for you:

Get "Dark Skies" for 3 bucks. It's an awesome weather radar app that tells you with surprising accuracy if and when it's going to rain in the next hour. Beats any weather website or forecast I have ever seen.

PhotoShare let's you send pics between two devices running the app over Bluetooth. This is great when you aren't near a wifi connection. I have it on my iPhone 5 and iPad Mini and its a great way to share photos without having to use email.
