i keep a blue LED light in my hunting bag, because i heard this, but how?

under the blue, or even UV light, blood looks black.. how is that "better"?

Body Fluids are naturally flourescent. The blood will be black but will usually have a halo of flourescence from the rest of the fluid in blood.

Because if you used a red light you wouldn't have ANY contrast.

Blue allows you to follow a blood trail while maintaining night vision.
