i just need to get all the words on the power point pasted to word so i can edit them and print them off in word form

Highlight all the text you want to copy.
Right click - Copy. In your word document: Right click - Paste Everything should move just that easily. Probably.  CO ETA: I'd do one slide at a time. |

you can highlight anything from the 'powerpoint viewer program' its all i got
there has to be some crack progam out there |

OK, I don't know what the hell Power Point Viewer is. Try this instead.
In whatever that viewer thing is: 1. Highlight the text you want to copy. If you can't use the cursor, try Ctrl + a. that's a keyboard shortcut for 'select all'. 2. hit Ctrl + c That should load the text into the Windows Copy/Paste buffer. Then, in your Word document: 1. Hit Ctrl + v See if that works for ya. CO |

If you had Power Point (rather than the viewer), this would be a snap. Simply highlight the entire outline, then copy and paste into Word.
So, can you get Power Point? ETA: Text that may not be in the outline may screw things up, a bit. But most good presentations will have a pretty complete outline. |

I just tried it.
I did not have any problem highlighting the text, selecting copy, and pasting into word. Are you sure that the the power point text was not loaded onto the slide as an image file? |

Slides do not have that much text, to begin with. 15-20 slides can probably be typed-up faster than any other option you presently have to your avail.

Sorry the response took so long. Had to go live my life for a while.
You may want to go to your campus book store and see if they have any of the Microsoft Educational Software packages. Some universities have an arrangement with Microsoft by which they can nearly give away software suites for enrolled students. I got an Office suite for next to nothing. That would probably make your life a great deal easier. Check it out. CO Edit: For the usual reason.
