i am working on a pen and ink drawing of a P-51 Mustang and i need a lot of big pictures. all different positions and angles of attack. Most of all they have to be BIG!
With as much detail as possible.

Thanks,

Just what plane are you doing? Chances are I may have that one also. As you can see I'm a big fan of the P-51

Two questions, who stuck an ugly ass A10 in that formation;
and isn't that P-51 missing two Brownings?

1) Looks good to me where it's at
2) Yes See SmilingBandit's post below

Here's a cool shot of the A-10 with a P-40.

And yes the P-40 is a two seater, alot of the old fighters have had a second seat added.

Here's a picture of a two seat P-51

The P-51 is an earlier model. The A-C versions had only four machine guns and a more standard for the day cockpit.

With the D model North American added the last two Brownings and the bubble canopy.

Also worth noting is the Mustang in this photo is decked out in Tuskegee Airman colors. And I do believe that that aircraft and its pilot burned in this last summer.

Here are some of my own photos taken at the 2002 EAA Air Show in Oshkosh, WI.

If you like any of them I have them in larger versions, but photobucket only allows images to be so large, so just let me know and I can email you the full sized image.

These last ones are a 3D models I built and rendered on the computer in college:

I can tell you first hand, that the Warthog is the most beautiful aircraft ever flown. Ask any grunt who has ever needed close air support.

P-51 A's were only four gun ships. I don't believe they got six .50's until the "D" model, and yes the Warthog is beautiful!
