I have this irrational urge to make one of my guns up to look like the ones in Serenity. Attach some weird doohickies to a revolver... for home defense.

They have one of the alliance weapons for sale at the following website.

I'm wading through the Firefly series that a buddy lent me. So far, they've shown a bunch of G36's, the assortment of lever guns, a gold plated S&W, and I think a PPK. The oddball award went to an ASTRA 400 in the hands of an undercover fed officer.......they always looked like raygun/squirtguns anyway

looks like a Autococker paintball gun

Finally got around to watching this movie tonight. I was impressed with the bad guy. Bad guys with some range are rare.
Bad thing about the movie was everything was too close. Such as the ship battles or even re-entry.

Lots of HK's. Gunplay could of been better. I do like real guns in movies rather then laser guns. They tried to give a tactical feel to their means, but failed.

Overall good movie. Breath of fresh air in the sci-fi realm.

I rather liked the AR18/180 with the vented tubular handguard and front sight way out at the muzzle. Longer barrel than usual too. If I had one I think I would build it up like that.

The gun Malcolm had? I thought that was a dressed up dragunov

yes he was not completely genrically evil more in keeping with history and the larger things are not my concern I am just a tool and a means to a end ( IE JBT defense )

No, it was an AR18. There is one very good shot where I froze the movie then zoomed. Great profile of the receiver, magazine and stock hinge.

I was more paying attention to the chicks, especially "Inara".

Too bad Jayne didn't get any action with Vera.

Did you like that nice sponge bath scene in the pilot episode of Firefly? Or the part where Kaylee eats the strawberry?

When her eyes quivered, you knew it had been a loooooong time since she had a fresh strawberry!

Talk about an endorphin surge!

Never saw the series, but if it's on video, I'll be looking for it.
