TV room all the good bean bag chairs I've seen are like $75 or more Luv Sacs seem to be quality but be prepared to spend 300 - 600 bucks. Are you positve that you can't get couches down there? Because we have one of those stairwells. I was pretty sure we couldn't, but my wife insisted that they were going. It took some kicking cussing and fighting, but they went down. The walls and the couches got scuffed up a bit.

Fombag and ulitmate Sack are about the same with U. S. being a bit cheaper. I have the 6ft sack and man is it comfortable! Ive had it for about 3 years as well. You wont be disappointed.

I would look into a futon like someone else mentioned.
You could just pick up a cheapie at Wal-Mart or something as just assemble it after you get it down there. |

Those sumo bags are nice. As is the young lady sitting on them.
If you want "real" furniture, you can look into Simplicity Sofas. They're made nearby and are specifically engineered to be taken through tight spots. Basically, the backs of the sofas are removable, and they are very sturdy, but sadly, they are not cheap. |
