Here is my try at a dinner pic.

NY Strip Steak  cooked inside on cast iron skillet
1 lb baked potato with butter and cheese.

I dont have a complete EBR yet, so I had to make due.

that was my first time to cook one on the stove and in the over, so next time I will probably adjust the times and possibly try a different cut of steak.

Overall i thought it tasted great and was surprised that the vent fan was able to keep up with all the smoke.

Thats pretty much medium for a NY Strip. They are typically much paler than a Ribeye for example.
