An officer is coming over to interview my parents regarding my background check to become a reserve officer.  Should I be here? what to expect? thanks

Wow, I have never heard of that before...

Here they just send out letters for reply.

My guess is though, that you should not be there.  Eveeryone can be a little more open without pressure and it will keep your mind off of what they are talking about.  Go to the gym.

Congratulations.

What jurisdiction do you live in?

im in thurston county, im not sure how wise it is to disclose information on specific departments, as I'd like for my words on ar15 to represent myself and not the department I'll possibly be working for

No problem.  That's why I asked where you live and I figured I could pretty much figure out who was hiring.

I wonder how Eyman's initiative is going to affect hiring?  This may be the first Eyman initiative I vote against.

My department does an in-home visit and checks 1/3 in person for the background.  No big deal, just be honest!  Good luck!
