Looking to replace the open diff in my truck with an eLocker

Any of y'all have experience with either?

If so what which would you recommend.

If you've already got air, get the ARB.

If not, get the Eaton.

I've got an E-locker in the rear in my F350. Love it.

Well there's the problem.....

I would bet either will perform for you though. Seems a little silly in a 2wd though, just a good way to get yourself into even deeper shit when you get stuck.

Dont underestimate a 2WD positive rear end in the hands of a competent driver.

I would take a locked rear axle over a pair of unlocked axles any day of the week.

Yah, I won't be really going anywhere "new" and have no delusions that it's a rock crawling mud monster. It's just to give me a little more confidence to places I regularly visit and with an open differential can make for some fairly sporty situations. Coupled with the 3" suspension lift it has it'll be a fairly semi-capable truck.

I would take two open axles instead and just use the E-brake trick.
