Why do so many of them linger around the ball when they aren't going to return it ......GTF away from the ball!
Link Posted: 10/2/2014 7:40:16 PM EST
I don't even know what that means.

No, I don't watch basketball.

Yes.

Hell I still yell "ball" for fumbles and "Oskie" for an interception and I haven't played at any level since 1974.

It's when the goal tender has made a hole in one, and so gets to kick the ball from the free throw line.

No. I try not to get worked up over things I have no control over, especially not over some game involving overpaid criminals.

In a crowded restaurant on a Sunday at lunch, my dad jumped out of his seat screaming at the top of his lungs. It's got a tv, so it's not like it was a fancy place or anything, but he made a bit of a scene.

My dad is 6'5 290lbs with a booming voice, probably scared some people, big fucking lunatic.

And if he makes it he yells "cricket" and and wins the match.

Ya know, my plan today was to not learn anything new.
All of that is over now.

Who can make a home run?

Not so much on special teams, but you might hear me yell "Who the fuck was that pass to?" or I'll count aloud missed tackles as they happen.

i have been known to shout "peter" while watching a punt in a bar.

although involuntary, it's a good way of telling who has actually played football.

this is not a thing to admit publicly.

football is a microcosm of life. it is a fount of wisdom, and a harbor of stark comfort. to truly understand football is to have a deeper appreciation of the mysteries of existence.

and beer.

WVU special teams has the most overpaid coach in the nation. $500,000 a year. Qualifications: Holgerson's drinking buddy.

500,000 gets you: fair catches at the 5 yard line, guys running TOWARD a punt rolling on the ground, and muffed catches. Oh, and no coverage on kicks, so the occasional return for a TD. ST's good for at least one of the above every game.

And I yell about that stuff and more. Not as loudly as my wife, though.
