I mean they look like something I could make with some silver rattlecan paint and some chain???
bracelet so should i get it??? |
Even though you can get the same type chains for half the cost at other mall shops, the reaction women have when you put that little blue box in front of them is worth it.
There is something about Tiffany stuff that women love. And even though they are expensive, the silver is extremely high quality. I have gotten a bracelt for each women in my family and they still talk about it. They seem to take care of items better when they know they are quality. |
tiffany's bracelet= lots and lots of tail
most women I know have an inexplicable longing for one. get it. |
Simply put, it is a higher quality material than other sources, and the blue box does make them wet.

I think they like the fact that it's in the blue box, more than what it's actually worth. A brand name thing.
Edit: I've bought a couple things from them, but two winters ago I experienced their less-than-stellar customer service. I bought a ring and ended up needing a half size bigger. After two trips to their retail location, they were still unable to locate them, and four phone calls to customer service to try to get them to locate one nationwide or at least tell me when they would have one available. They were very polite, but just flat out unhelpful. You'd think they would at least be able to give me a call when they had that size in stock. So I gave up on them and, two winters later, my girl still has a slightly too small ring. I won't be buying anything from them again. |

Wife, daughter, sister and neice.
All have them and all love them. Wife has a LOT of Tiffany's jewelry and loves it. I have one of their wedding bands. Great stuff, blue box fever. Good Luck Bill |
which bracelet should I get?
do they have like a "classic" bracelet that you cannot go wrong with??? |
My wife loves the Tiffiany silver bracelets. They are much better quality than the local jewelry store versions. She has both and wears only the Tiffany stuff now.
I think the tennis bracelet is the classic bracelet that you can never go wrong with type. |
Greg...you do this in every thread you post.
It's WOMEN. Not woman. And as far as the bracelet? eh. I'm not too crazy about it. And not all women just care about where it came from. I prefer eclectic things sometimes, and classic things other times. Depends on my mood. That bracelet does nothing for me. |
buy it, then return it kepping the box and get something off of ebay. she'll never know
And when you give the bracelet to her, you can sell the box on egay for extra cash
They were bringing up to $20 a few years ago... |
Bought my girlfriend the oval tag tiffany's bracelet.
She wears it every day. She loves it beyond what I could explain. The quality is surprising good. I was pissed about spending 300$ on just a silver bracelet, but I was surprised by how nice they are. Plus it's tiffany's and woman love tiffanys. |
There is a jewerly store down here called Mayors. They used to have a commercial that said "It's not what's in the box, it's what's on the box". This holds true for Tiffany's. If you're into status then ok. Personally - to me it says you paid a damn lot of money for a little bit of nothing.
My experience is that there is a certain kind of woman for whom you could deliver a crusty peanut filled lump of shit. (Literally: a piece of human defecation), and if it came in a Tiffany's box the woman would be yours forever.
Avoid those women like the plague. Most women recognize that Tiffany's is quality stuff with good service and yes some "status." If they enjoy it without going gonzo, good for them. If they would wear a ka-ka necklace because it came in thelittle blue box then run. |
Personally, if you're looking for jewelry, at one time Tiffany's was very competitive with other jewelry stores. I recent years they have become even more expensive.
Looks like a dog collar. |

+1. This describes my ex-fiancée to a T. She wanted a Tiffany's silver bracelet to match the earrings and neck chain, so I bought it for her. Personally, I thought it rather ugly, and WAY overpriced for what it was. But, she was "into" the status thing, and could thus show off the bracelet to her friends and say, " look what P3 bought me. See how much he loves me. " |
"That's how mommy makes diamonds." |
Tiffanys stuff is high quality AND has decent resale *as compared* to other jewelry. There are plenty of things bringing $$ on ebay right now.
Bribe the salesgirl for a blue box and put a Walmart bracelet in it.
I bought special gifts for my children in the year they were born, for my daughter I bought her a gold Tiffany/Paloma Piscasso(grand daughter of Picasso) necklace, and it is now 3X what I paid. |

You sound like an ass. |

That isnt a fair statement. The Blue Box has an appeal - and it should. It is a trademark of QUALITY. Just like people here go GA-GA over any thing with a pony on it - or get a hard on for a german made car - people appreciate quality and the status that the product is 'elite'. Saying this - i dont know anyone who would look at some Target POS and love it like a Tiffany because it came in the box. IIRC, EVERY piece from them has their mark. If you give them something in a blue box that didnt have the mark, they would feel betrayed you tried to 'trick' them. Women just love the fact you think they are worth these 'elite' items. Its OK to spoil your gal once in awhile. |

Huh. I bought my twin boys something special as well - Caspian titanium frames for a couple custom .45s I'm having built for them. They will never be worth anything to anyone else, b/c the serial number is custom - our last name, ANGRISANO1 and ANRISANO2. My wife just rolled her eyes |

women go crazy over Tiffany's, my ex was obsessed with the robin's egg blue box
You sound like you're in denial. |

Get one that says "Return to Tiffany & Co." on it. I have one, and yes, we do like them. Probably for no logical reason, but we like them.

I have this bracelet and the necklace to match. Both were birthday gifts on 2 separate years. I love them both, but I like chunky silver. I will say that they seem to be better quality than many pieces I've had. |
yeah i must be a retard but is it some sort of joke like return me back to tiffanys to buy more stuff? |
My wife loves Tiffany's anything. While to me it is
you could cover a turd in gold, but if the box it is in says TIFFANY of course they want it. duh
last poll I read had me laughing women prefer 1-Plasma or LCD big screens 2-Bling so i ask my wife which one do you want for (lets say Christmas) to which she responds. Can I have both |
There's probably about $15 in silver in that $185 bracelet. |
yes and 5.00 in labor and 165.00 in hype... but where else can you get sex panther cologne that makes women strip instantly for 185?? |
I dropped a little blue box on the wife. It ...uh... went over well.
