Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - dishwasher part- I need help finding one

I have a Whirlpool Custom 30 dishwaser.
A small plastic piece at the bottom that sprays the water came unscrewed and melted on the dryer element.  The local applicance place said they don't make them anymore and I'm out of luck.

Am I going to have to get a new dishwasher just because of this stupid little piece of plastic?

If it was a good dishwasher, fix it.  We have a newer Whirlpool and it's worthless.

I've ordered parts for my refridgerator and looked up parts for my washer here and have had good luck with them.  Don't know if theyt are any better or cheaper than the other place mentioned.

They don't even list the model.  And I looked through all the parts not there.
