i sent my gun in after 2 years.  i cleaned it myself after every shoot and it was a good job not crappy. anyway  last time i went  the shells wouldnt get pushed forward.  the bolt would stick and i would have to use the assist allot.  so after that i said, "well i am going out of town and i will see if the people at carters country will clean it and see if they can fix it."  the guy said the average cleaning was about $50.00   2 weeks later i get back from hawaii, and its $129.90  according to the invoice it says, "gun repair $58.50,
Test fire $7.50, then parts:  Gas tube and scals $54.00 plus a tax of $9.90.  so my question is should it have cost this much just for a gas tube?

While I don't know the exact amount for the tube, I would say, as long as your weapon is
working fine, I think 129.90 is acceptable.

Now go and have some fun.

PS if you can afford Hawaii, I don't think 129.90 will change your quality of life.
