Whats the deal with curios and relic? someone told me its some old gun and all FFL's do is receive them and they give it to you, no paperworks and BS... so is this true or do C/R still have to do 4473?

The answer is wrong.

C&R is no different than a 2001 firearm as far as transfer.  You need a 4473 or your own Curio and Relic FFL ($10/year).  C&R firearms are 50 years old and others specifically listed.

Antique firearms, pre circa 1898 or so, need no FFL intervention at all unless your state requires it.
