Windows 95 came standard with a fax program, Windows 98 did not.
If you had Win98 and a fax program (assuming you didn't install it seperately yourself) it may have come bundled with your computer or with your modem. Can't really give much advice with the info you gave... |

if it was win98 there is a legacy applications directory on the cd. I for get the name of the directory but it is not hard to find. The msfax software is there along with a few other applications.
If it was not Msfax then you will need to check with your vendor or modem software. mike |

Have you actually done it? If so, could you give me better instructions? |

i have windows ME and it was not called ms fax the icon on my desktop said "PHONE TOOLS" so i guess that is what it was called and it did come with the computer. by the way i'm really tired of messing with gateway thier techs suck for the most part
