A friend of mine just inherited a beautiful rifle from his uncle. Itappears to be a very well made and finely crafted rifle. It has " lakelander model 389, product of mipro" etched on its side. It also has sweden etched to the right of that. it is chambered in 270 winchester and sports a ziess conquest 3.5x10 scope. Does anyone know anything about or the value of this rifle? thanks for any help.
it shoots .270 bullets
seriously I have seen them before do not know much about them
did a quick search apprently they are quite common in Europe
No it doesn't it shoots .277 bullets
If I remember my bullet sizes correctly
I can't help, but I'd but some of our European members could. Might try posting in some of the European hometown forums.
There is a fair bit of info on the web if you can read Swedish.
I'll be right back after I retreive a Bluebook from my truck ...
