Had a friend pick me up some boiled peanuts from S.C. while she was down there. She bought them last night. She comes back tonite so it will be approximately 24hrs since they were purchased. They were not refrigerated or anything. Will they be any good? Any tips like re-boiling, microwaving etc?

I don't know, but Beefypeanuts last a really long time.

I would reboil it in its own brine for a bit, I can't believe some people don't like them

They would be fine but I would store them in a fridge. In my house they only last a few hours. Cromers new crop UMMMMMMM!!!

it's not as if your average road-side boiled p-nut stand is the epitome of hygene....

how much worse could they get?

(I loves me some boiled p-nuts)

Many, Many folks I know would say they are spoiled as soon as they hit the pot.

I don't mind a few as long as they are still nice and hot and of the very spicy type.

Definitely an aquired taste.......

Update! Ate about half the bag last night. Tried a few cold, then heated them up in the microwave in the plastic bag. Preatty tasty and addicting. These were plain, I'd like to try making my own very spicy.
