Because the trigger guard is the most tactical thing on a rifle?  What is bad about it?  Everyone gushes over how awesome billet lowers are they all have permanent trigger guards.

Does anybody know why a standard trigger guard is made to pivot free?

I actually want one but if I wasn't going to drop some money on some lowers for the Roll Mark (PSA OEF and maybe a custom lower) I would drive up there and get one.

And every single time they do, their lowers go up to 60.00 instead of 50.00.

What exactly is bad about a fixed trigger guard?

I don't own any lowers like that, but I'm not seeing the downside.

Cope's was a great friend to CA gun owners and were shipping magazine kits here until the San Fransisco District Attorney sued them to stop.

The SF DA has no jurisdiction to charge them with anything, but it would cost Cope's too much in legal fees so they made an agreement to stop shipping here.
