I have a small business. Back in 2014  a company called Merchant  xxxxx called me to see if I'd be interested in receiving a loan or to ease equipment.  Out of curiosity I gave them some information.
   I never received a rejection notice or any kind of loan. Time went by and I started getting many phone calls a day from companies wanting to loan me money at a better rate than the  Merchant  xxx company. Finally one of the callers explained that the "Merchant" company had put my name on an ICC list in my state. Apparently the companies read this list and try to get my business.This results in me getting numerous calls everyday.  Sometimes in excess of 30 calls a day.
  My question is how can they put me on that list when I didn't do any business with them and what do I need to get off the list and end the many calls I get?  Thanks in advance

I just checked because I'm getting spam calls a lot on both my land line and cell.  I've been on the 'do not call' registry since 10-28-04, so nobody cares.

Thank you  That's one answer but anytime  would try t get a loan or credit it will show up that I owe this company when I never did any business with them at all
