this is the prk we're talking about, I'm sure they can find something evil on it.

I think the law says somewhere that box-magazine fed semi-automatic shotguns are banned.

This includes the Saiga shotgun.

I dont recall exactly which part of the CA gun law I saw it.

I tried to buy one a few years ago. I saw one at a gun show in Reno, and decided to get one when I got home.  My local dealer said he could not order it for me because of the detachable magazine.  

Yep, detachable mag semi automatic shotguns are prohibited.

And AK receivers are banned, so no Saigas.

Pump actions are okay with detachable mags.

Is that AK22 or whatever the number is, in .22 considered a kalish reciever?

I thought if it had a pistol grip and detach mag it was prohibited?

under the rules of BS-23, all mag fed SEMI-AUTO shotguns are Illegal.
under the updated roberti-roos law of '89 saiga RIFLES are Illegal. [pissed]

i believe while the "updated version of RR89" law was being enacted and sorted out it was legal to sell some AR/AKs until Aug of 2000.
