fun idea?
or not fun?
Probably considered a threat.
And I don't think you would remain anonymous long after that.............. |
Do it. Should make for a fun follow-up thread in 10-15 years when they let you out. DC has no sense of humor.

It would be interesting to see if they could trace it back. I sure as hell wouldn't do it, but it would be interesting. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

You may as well send them your fap sock. At least it would vote for goddamn democrats a couple thousand times.

Yeah, fun idea.
Whether any of the desired/ironic consequences would occur, though....not putting any faith in that. |

Probably considered a threat. And I don't think you would remain anonymous long after that.............. Probably be like that story of someone finding a live .22 shell over in England a few years back-cordon off the area and send in EOD. Then go thru all the cameras until they find you, match fingerprints/DNA to the shell casings, and come a calling. |
Would not all the "range" pickups have everyone elses fingerprints on them. Assuming you put no fingerprints on the box or brass when it was collected, would they not just have random people. Even if your fingerprints were on the brass you could say it was range shot, just like everyone else you have no idea how it was mailed.

Drop a spent .50bmg shell in the middle of the mall and watch heads explode.

Where can I find some spent range pick up brass?
It sounds like cool stuff. |
Didn't some one start a thread a few hours ago " should retards have guns" ? Theres a whole lot of retard in this thread.
They already tax the shit out of me and you want me to send them my brass? No.

Mailing in brass would only get it to the people who are screening the mail. You'd never even hear about it. Driving around with a pocket full of range brass would be risking what would amount to a life sentence for a stupid prank. Not worth it. |

Does being the subject of a Federal investigation sound like fun to you?
.22LR is for pussies. The real fun and games would be in distributing once fired, uncleaned 9mm and .40 brass, ideally from whatever range MPD trains at. Regular used .mil and LE brass would be OK, but how much funnier would it be for the chief of police's own empties to start showing up.

Don't just put the brass in an envelope. Put a message in it "Congratulations! You are now a criminal because DC law prohibits this piece of brass from being in your possession. Be sure to thank your elected officials, and the prosecutors for putting you in jail while letting Gregory casually, and without punishment, wave around a dreaded "hi-cap" feeding device on national TV from D.C., also in flagrant violation of the law...and pick up that can on the way out, citizen." Now you are using your first amendment to advocate the second. Will it prevent your dog from being shot? Probably not, but it might prevent tender prison love when the courts say it is the political speech it is.

View Quote The ultimate refinement of this would be to get custom headstamo brass, or just engrave/etch/print the brass with the political message. There's a lot of room on .50 BMG brass for, say 8point fnt. |

So drop it into a mail box in Podunk, GA while you're driving from your home in OH to visit Disney World. It would give you something to watch on TV at night during your Disney visit.

They just recently shot a woman with a kid in her car for less. DC's a little skitterish these days.
