Would not all the "range" pickups have everyone elses fingerprints on them. Assuming you put no fingerprints on the box or brass when it was collected, would they not just have random people. Even if your fingerprints were on the brass you could say it was range shot, just like everyone else you have no idea how it was mailed.

Mailing in brass would only get it to the people who are screening the mail. You'd never even hear about it. Driving around with a pocket full of range brass would be risking what would amount to a life sentence for a stupid prank. Not worth it. |

.22LR is for pussies. The real fun and games would be in distributing once fired, uncleaned 9mm and .40 brass, ideally from whatever range MPD trains at. Regular used .mil and LE brass would be OK, but how much funnier would it be for the chief of police's own empties to start showing up.

Be sure to thank your elected officials, and the prosecutors for putting you in jail while letting Gregory casually, and without punishment, wave around a dreaded "hi-cap" feeding device on national TV from D.C., also in flagrant violation of the law...and pick up that can on the way out, citizen." Now you are using your first amendment to advocate the second. Will it prevent your dog from being shot? Probably not, but it might prevent tender prison love when the courts say it is the political speech it is.

You do know the USPS takes a photo of every piece of mail, multiple times at the different sorting facilities... and of all the places that probably have overlapping camera angles of 90% of the city, DC?
