I saw an ad in SGN for a special run of 10,000 new M1 Garands by Springfield Armory. They are supposed to be built on the origional equipment and are all mil-spec. Does anyone know what they will cost? They have not put any of this on their website yet.

EagleArms, They`re going to sell for 700-800. Mine is on order. I just like to have new. The run is supposedly Sold out already! But it may be the beginning of limited production run every year.

I thought everything was made from USGI parts (like the CMP Garands), except the receiver, which is new. They should certainly be better than the Century Garands.

Mine is like brand new. I would stick with the "Real thing".

They are also going to sell just the receivers, or just a barreled receiver. All the adds in Shotgun News state that. I can't wait to change out my CAI receiver with a new Springfield Armory receiver. Av.
