No, it's not...

It's $20 a year for extra storage-the 2 mb you have now is still free.

I'd reccomend Yahoo with threir 4mb free, but they're dropping POP3(Outlook downloading and such) support unless you pay, now.

GMX at http://www.gmx.net or FirstCampus at http://www.uni.de

Free email account at both sites, Pop3/smtp (ie you can use your favorite e-mail program), e-mail attachments can be up to 5MB, webmail when you're away from your own computer, powerful and configurable filters for your mail to delete crap automatically right there on the server, e-mail forwarding, e-mail collecting...

Both sites are in German, but last time I checked, they had sections in English and other European languages.

Ummmm, if you become a "Team Member" here, you get a free [email protected] email account!  [;)]

Ummmm,

Just saying. The "free" e-mail here is a benefit you get if you pay $60 a year. That being said, I wholeheartedly support the idea of becoming a team member, if you can afford it....

I also second http://www.mynra.com for free e-mail, IF you cannot afford at present to become a Team Member here.....

P.S. I am adjusting my finances.....

I just wanted to add sovereignsociety.com. Free email for life, just make sure you uncheck all of their spam before you sign up. I certainly like mine.
