At least that's the opinion of Mr. Ehrgott, self-proclaimed gun guy and longtime NRA member.
"I own and will continue to own many firearms, including 9mm handguns and a .223 caliber AR-15, a so-called "assault rifle." I strongly believe in the Second Amendment and I support the passage of legislation allowing concealed carry in Illinois. Given all of that, I now have come to believe that we need strong federal and state legislation that will diminish the ability of some nut to quickly and easily kill and injure large numbers of people in the kind of tragic mass shootings we have recently experienced in this country. Here's what I propose:" In the Spotlight: Gun legislation should center on limiting size of ammunition clips, body armor |

When was the last time someone was beat-to-death with body armor?

What a fuckin' schmuck.
He can go sit on a roughly stippled pmag. ETA: Of course, this dweeb feels the need to "justify" his gun ownership by mentioning hunting and target shooting, fucking pathetic. |

The world is full of useful idiots and the left is finding everyone they can to praise and promote their socialist/marxist viewpoint. Ed shut the hell up you traitor.

Has the NRA ever revoked anyone's membership? Or declined renewal?
Because that is how they should handle this idiot. What a disgrace! |

I can't think of any active killers that have utilized body armor. |

How about he voluntarily restrict himself and leave the rest of us alone.
We are our own worst enemy. He's probably a 1911 shooter and doesn't "need" any more than 7 rounds at the range, I guess. Never found out about the factory 8 round magazines.

The 7 round limit was proposed by liberal members of the New York State Legislature following the Sandy Hook shooting.

Aren't racing yacht sails made out of Kevlar fabric readily available by the linear yard? Seems like having access to an industrial sewing machine and said fabric would allow you to make your own soft body armor.
