These words are different and have different meanings.

"lose" - to miss from one's possession or from a customary or supposed place

"loose" - not rigidly fastened or securely attached

Also it is "no one" (TWO separate words ) NOT "noone".

Thanks,

I gave up on caring about this a long time ago, but....

it cracks me up when someone uses "your" instead of "you're" and claims it was a typo when they get called on it.

that's not a typo, it's a dumb-o

Affect vs. effect.

"Affect" means to cause change in something, as in, "by yelling at the golf player I affected his concentration."

"Effect" is used thusly: "the effect of yelling at the golfer was that his playing got worse."

care so little now, I couldn't care less. Got it? (I know you really don't give a shit, but now I
feel better having said (typed) it.)

Yeah, cause "noone" pronounced 'new-nee'... is slang for "nooner"... which is slang for lunchtime sex.

Thanks allot.

(Sorry, had to do that)

My pet peeve is people who say that something is "the most unique", or "more unique".

Unique means one of a kind! You can't be the most one of a kind or more one of a kind.

That's another double. I've seen "viscous cycle" in newspaper articles instead of the proper "vicious circle."

What gets me is when someone says something is "somewhat unique" or "very unique."  Unique is an absolute modifier.  It means "one of a kind."  Nothing can be "somewhat one of a kind" or "very one of a kind."  Something is either unique or it isn't.
