We had some IFD guys get shot at here in Indy the other day as well. This was a legit fire though, and someone started cracking rounds off at them. SWAT got him quick. Salute to the fallen.

During the Detroit Riots of 1967 (which I still remember from when I was a boy), there were incidents of arsonists setting fire to buildings, then engaging the firemen with sniper fire when they responded to the scene.
I'm glad LBJ sent in federal troops to shoot them down like dogs. |
