[ARCHIVED THREAD] - an update on why i haven't been around much the last few weeks...

my daughter was having issues with a high risk pregnancy and was transferred to the hospital here last sunday after 2 months of complete bedrest.

last monday morning she began heavy bleeding and contractions <29 weeks> that they were unable to control. Around 3 pm they rushed her in for an emergency c-section. during the surgery her placenta ruptured and they were having issues controlling the bleeding.

i am happy to report she and baby are doing well. she came home saturday and was told the baby would likely be kept 10-12 weeks in NICU <4lbs 2 oz>

today i am happy to report not only is baby doing well they both beat the odds. Mom is back to normal and this morning he was transferred out of NICU to the general nursery and there is a possibility he may be released by the weekend. The staff here has been amazed at his progress. after spending the last week with her in the nicu and seeing the other parents and babies there we were defiantly blessed.

So here he is, hopefully a future mason

Congrats brother. My daughter was 3lbs 12 oz at 29 weeks when she was born stayed in the NICU for 6 weeks.

Good news ...glad all is well.

Our youngest son was early at 7 1/2 months and weighed 4 lb 4 oz at birth.Today at age 36 he is 6'5" and 265 lb.
