I wish you luck with your kitteh.

Same thing happened to my sisters cat.

Her neighbors dogs run free, and have attacked Sis' animals in Sis' yard.

On a Saturday, neighbor's dogs dragged Sis' torn-up cat onto neighbors deck, so neighbor called animal control to remove live/torn-up cat.

Sis found out when Vet (who volunteers from veterinary office) at animal control recognized Sis' dead cat.  On Sunday.

Sis won't let me shoot dogs in her yard.

Sorry to hear that man.  I always keep an eye on my two pits around our cat.  One of them went after her once, but she has a really bad habit of just sitting there staring at them.....and you know what eye contact is for dogs......

Hope kitteh recovers and or is put out of his suffering, as appropriate.

Sorry about your pet  Cats can be amazingly resilient though, the whole "9 lives" thing comes from that.  So depending on the situation, may not be beyond hope.

Aussies are usually better behaved dogs than that.  My parents have one and a couple of the cats curl up with her for warmth in the winter.

Took a whole lotta tryin' just to get up that hill. Now we're up in the
big leagues, gettin' our turn at bat. As long as we live, it's you and
me, baby.

Snatch the dog by the neck walk over and ring the neighbors door bell and calmly beat the neighbor with his dog.

If your cats roam loose, this is always a risk.

I was driving across the Kakadu outback, when a dingo crossed the road in front of me.

I pulled up to him, stopped, rolled down the window and yelled at him:

"Hey, Don't eat my baby!"

he LOLed
