But, what if the first report was correct? The information could have gone out before the powers that be got control of the situation. So if you are building a new home between now and 2016, you might want to add a bomb shelter. |

I wouldn't think a bomb shelter would be much help against even a regional or hemispherical impact. (at least if it was on THIS hemisphere) It might help you survive in the wastelands that remain following the hit, for a while, at least...
