1GUNRUNNER, did you bring any of your toys down there? If so how did you get them there? I was really hoping that I was going to get to go but this was one of my concerns. I think someone said once that you have to mail any toys to an FFL in that state (TX). Is that true?
I'm glad you had fun. It sounds like the whole Texas crew is a bunch of nuts! |

Hey 1GunRunner-- it was definately fun hanging out with you... You gonna start planning a semi-annual shootout in WA-- maybe offset it with the Hun gathering: every 3 months we alternate locations? (not sure how often I could make it out to WA though) |

I didn't take any with me as there are [b]plenty[/b] to shoot there. Just buy ammo and everyone is more than willing to let you shoot theirs. Although if you really want to take some, putting them in an airline approved case and sending them through baggage is no problem.

Sweep Irwin, that was a hell of a long ways to come for the little time you got to spend at the farm. I wish you could have stayed as I am sure there were a ton of creature we could have gathered that night. I also would have loved to see Tippie in one of his relaxed states that I heard he can slip into.

Legs, Weren't you guys just here a couple of weekes ago? ROFL. Let me get some fresh boar for roasting and I will give the DFW Emergency Hog Eating Crew a holler! Steve, Love you man. 'nuf-sed. Sweep, You are nucking futs. No doubt. You take the prize for ice water blood. For those that don;t know, Sweep grabbed an unknown species of snake that we caught in the bottom of a West Texas well. Unknown = Poisonous? Who knew? Brouhaha, I think the 'dillo ran because we were carriers of disease. A good time was infectious! ETH, "Up on the rootop, slip slip slip. A big happy family, WOW! TRG is correct. Sweep is a brave man. There was no way in heck that I would grab the snake. Well, the only way I would grab it, is after I shot it. 1Gunrunner: need to come down here more, brother. Glad to finally met: Tippie, Sweep, DonR and KellyR, Goatboy, and some other bro/sisters-in-arms. The shoots in TX are getting better and better every day. |

If I was to fly in for the next Hunapalooza, what is the best airport to use? Going to start tracking fares now. Plus, if I was to have Ammoman ship a few cases ahead of me, would someone be willing to take delivery? (Probably a stupid question, but I had to ask.) |

I'd have to say it would be cheaper for you to fly into DFW international, but you could fly up to Witchita Falls. One of us would be glad to pick you up at the airport. And I would be glad to hold your ammo for you. I have plenty as well, so no worries! |

You can rent a car, then drive/carpoll with us to the Hun farm. You can also stay in the hotel or crash in at some of the DFW members' place. You can buy ammo here at Cheaper Than Dirt or having Ammoman delivers to DFW crew. Matter of fact, I still have about several hundreds rds of 9mm from 1Gunrunner. Edited to add: Legs is faster than me.[:D] |
