Well, I don think I'm a troll, I do like the company here in general, I do feel a need to point out when people are wrong and am greatful to Goatboy for providing a place for people to speak their mind. I am over 35. I don't belong to the ACLU and I don't ever whine.
I don't however own an AR-15 or varient. I start to think about getting one every week or so, but then I hear another horror story of them failing at a critical moment and the expensive mags, and they hate Wolf ammo and so on and so on. I then end up looking at my SAR-1 or 3 that I shoot weekly and havn't cleaned in months and my $9 hi caps that can be beat to death forever and still function flawlessly and my $70/ thousand cheap russian ammo and know it will always go bang at the plate shoot or whatever else I am shooting at and I talk myself out of it. Two rifles, two to 4 MOA, total investment $600 or so, I can live with it and still not consider myself a troll. |

Gotta step in here, for the sake of public edjumacation.
The metaphor "troll" as it refers to internet forums has nothing to do with the mythological bridge-dwelling beastie. Never has. It refers to fishing, as in the [i]verb[/i] [b]to troll[/b]. In this context, to drag an incindiary comment though a forum and see who bites on it. Damn it. Irregardless, loosers will always tow the line, and call people "trolls." I wait with baited breath for this to happen, as it offers a chance to stipulate discussion. Some wine at me for doing this, but I could care less. There is no statue of limitations for stoopidity. |
