As seems to be more common in these "Walmart" influenced days of the cheapest price, the places (FFLs & ranges) where we have placed flyers locally have said people have looked at it & said:  $35, thats too much!

It appears the same thing applies in most places until you look at it.  For $35 you get:
1) Range shooting for 3 days.
2) Sat night banquet
3) Sat night band
4) Social gathering of black rifle lovers from all over the US
5) Actual manufacturers to speak to & look at product.
6) Additional opportunities for formal shooting competitions.
7) 2, maybe 3, door prize tickets for very good odds of winning thousands of $$$ of fine prizes.

Anti, will those 100 tickets be 1st come 1st serve?  What time do they "go on sale?"  Also, shouldn't peeps who bouth tickets online be banned from buying more at the door?  That would spread the love around ya know.

It was my intention when I decided to hold these 100 back to make them available to people who had not bought earlier.  These tickets are for those who learned about the BRC later & still want a chance at the raffle prizes too. We didn't want a inability to get raffle tickets be a reason not to come.

They will be available as soon as we open the registration on Fri morning.  Limit of one (maybe 2) in order to give more a chance to participate in the raffle.

DAMAT!!! I can't go this year!!!  Just the door prizes look GREAT!
I just can't afford hotel stay, gas for the drive, and ammo, etc.  Next year I'm definitely going to try, but my vacation time might be eaten up by the tournament my fencing club is hosting (the 2003 Summer Nationals... 10 days of fencing events)

What's the headcount going to be like?

Les called, he finally got to the BRC info we gave him.  He can't miss this!

Les personally informed us that they will be at the BRC as a sponsor/vendor, and will also have demo rifles for evaluation use at the range.  They are also leaning towards having demo
pistols available at Pasa Park on Saturday.

Les Baer adds an entirely new dimension to the world of custom handcrafted AR's, and those of you attending will see this immediately...

Thanks Les!

This is the rifle (w/o optics) that he will be donating, to be used as a Door Prize...

Updated to show this post in BRC forum ref Williams Trigger Specialyies

I am the web admin/general promotions person for
Williams Trigger Specialties maker of the original AR set trigger. I became aware of the BRC on Friday and contacted Denny immediately about the shoot. While neither of us are able to attend we would like to support this venture
as it should be a fantastic gathering of folks. (Oh yeah and guns too. hehehe) WTS is willing to offer certificates for 2 set trigger jobs to be used as door prizes and or raffle items as you see fit. Internic screwed the pooch and has downed our site which is being mirrored at
www.soldierstuff.com/wts/ but this is the email address I have been coordinating from until the site is back up under www.williamstriggerspecialties.com If you or someone on the BRC organizing committe would contact me, I would like to discuss what you need and where to send it and also so I can provide any information you need I would greatly appreciate it. Each set trigger has the value of $187 including return shipping (lower receiver only). Cost of shipping to WTS will be the responsibility of the winner. I look forward to your reply and am greatly sorry that neither Denny nor I can attend.
