Juggernaut and xanadu will be there, as will some of the TN crowd on Ass. Web.

I'm bringing some very shootable things-both to shoot with and at, so be there.

I will most likely be there, but I need directions.  I will be coming from Florence,AL and can follow the map to Bruceton, but once I get there I have no idea where to go.  Another thing--are these sand pits private land that we have permission to shoot--I dont wanna drive two hours and be told we cant shoot there.  One other question, is this going to be family friendly, I may have my mother and sister with me and I would like to not have them hear any foul language or jokes.  Thanks, this sounds like it will be a fun shoot.

Hank, your email is not working.  I am going to try and make the shoot, but if I am not able to meet you at 11am for some reason, do you have a cell # or some other way I can get in touch with you.  Email me at [email protected]  I will be leaving FL today at 2pm, but once I get to AL I will have access to email.  Thanks.

Hank, no email yet.  It probably wont matter though, my 87year old grandmother has gotten very sick so I probably will not make it.  Maybe next time.  I was really looking forward to it.  Thanks.

C'mon people, be there, or be square.

You're going to miss all the fun if you stay at home and wash windows on a holiday weekend[;)].

Hello all.

I will rendevous at the Luvs truck stop (exit 87) on I-40 tomorrow at 10:00.

Still driving the green/tan 98 Ford F-150 Extd cab w/ possible 4 wheeler in tow.

Does anyone know weather reports at this point?

I will try to check local forecast to get better determination.

Will stay in contact via this thread.

Okay....weatherbug forecast shows rain/thunderstoms likely tomorrow with approx. 70% chance of occurance, high near 60.

National and regional radar do not show any significant systems headed our way but some isolated storms do seem to be generating in the center of the country.....who knows.

A chance is, at best, only that I suppose.

Today, in my area only a few sprinkles fell certainly nothing that hindered any plans.

I say we get up tomorrow and, as it was during our Memorial day shoot....wait and see what mother nature dishes out.

I can stand a little drizzle.............downpours and lightning do nothing for me.

Monitor and stay in contact until then.

And the rest of ye say?

Received Hans.  Spose I am out as well.

Bad storms went through my area around 5:00 this am and it is raining and cold right now.  From the sound of things on Ch. 7 out of Jackson there have been flooding/severe storm problems in Henry county, also south of Paris and all up in that general direction.

Rain was one thing in May.  I agree it is colder in November.

I am always up for a screwed up adventure but agree that for the guys traveling considerably farther, that it would probably be better to wait a few weeks.

I work next week-end but am off the following FWIW.

Tornado watches still in effect in many areas for the day. Mississippi was hit real hard in some places w/ tornados and my brother and his wife and new baby are in that area right now visiting his in-laws.

Another day sounds proper.

Will stay in contact throughout the morning.

Right now local radar shows a severe line of thunderstorms covering the entire width of the state from a line SE of Memphis up to and beyond Fort Campbell KY.  Basically traveling NE up the I-40 corridor...right throught the area we would be shooting in.  There are currently no additional systems west/sw of Tennessee that pose a current threat but a system could develop rather quickly I suppose.

I agree that a better day must surely be looming out there somewhere.
