Neither of these trucks are available in the United States to my knowledge. We have plenty of Ford Rangers on the roads, but none are diesel powered. And Toyota sells Tacomas and Tundras; but not the HiLux. [B)]

A buddy of mine in Honduras has the Toyota Land Cruiser with the diesel engine and loves it, even without the fancy interior its pretty pricey at around $35,000 US though. If the engine is the same as in the HiLux I'd probably go with that.
