This means if someone posts - "I had toast for breakfast" - then you should NOT post "I had XXX for XXX"

Doing so will result in a warning/banning.

This is considered SPAMMING THE FORUMS and will not be tolerated. This is also something I take personal offense at, since it is neither funny nor a good use of resources. This also has led to a lot of grief placed on the original post author. It's not that persons fault that others copy them and they will not be held accountable anymore.

I have ZERO problem with the original thread and people joking about it within that thread, but when people start slapping up topic after topic along the same pointless line, it will cost them.

I added this to the forum rules so there's no excuses. [=D]

I thought it was done well when one guy posted he used his AR15 tonight blasting away into the air at perps in a pickup truck.

Then when someone posted that they were trying to return a guys lost dog and all of a sudden he started blasting away in the air with an AR15.

It was just well done.

I agree, I thought about that one too when this was posted. That was a pretty clever post- I assumed this was more for the "I cut my thumb"/"I electrocuted myself" stuff.

Yeah it's more about the "I electrocuted myself today" and "I got killed by my lawn mower today" type posts.

Obviously this will be in the hand of the mods to differentiate between quality posts and spam ones.

I hope the mods will look favorably upon the "based upon threads" such as the "jetski DGU" spawning the "coming under fire for returning the dog" thread. That was high quality and just FUNNY. It definitely added to the list of "forum legends".

So I'm curious if this scenario violates this rule:

Someone started a thread titled "How about 2-stroke motors????" I was thinking of starting a new thread titled "Ladies, how about 2-stroke husbands????" Would this get me banned? Or would I get a Tony Award for Best Ar15.Com Comedian?

I for one thought the "I killed/injured myself in various ways" posts hysterical. I had been having a bad day at the office, but when I read those, I laughed myself silly. Much better than a lot of the "serious" posts that I have read here.

One or two of the "i died" threads were funny, but about 12 of them sucked hard core...

If you recall I locked all but 3 of them which included the original and 2 funny ones.

This doesn't mean that funny SPAM is acceptable, just saying a few people got lucky. [=D]

I was in Kentucky Fried Chicken» the other night when I noticed the lady next to me had some nice looking breasts...I asked her If I could taste one and she seemed kinda offended...So I asked if I could taste one of her legs instead...badumpump

I had just finished reading about how somebody(I forget who) had hurt themself, and I went to the other side of our basement and I [u]really[/u] did shock myself...immediately afterwards I thought of the thread I had just read...[thinking]

C. Guy's "I-left-the-iron-on-and-then-burned-over-90%-of-my-body" topic was priceless.

Last time, several of the members were collecting money so that C. Guy could go to Home Despot on a power tool shopping spree !
