Dang looks like we did good.
The farm is about 600 acres with a 600 yard range set up. (at least back in June) Outstanding place to camp and shoot for sure. Looking forward to the Spring shoot. |

Bowling pins at mid range. Also a pistol range of to the right. We also go over to the river to bump fire. OH if you look at the pic where ETH is sitting down holding up his rifle and smiling, you can see the bowling pins in the background from the rifle range down the hill. |

Oh yeah, Bunghole & I designed the foam lining for the CAV15 and built it last Friday. Its a rather unique design, one that hold the barrel above the foam, yet is all on the same layer, so you don't have to remove foam to get to the other pieces. (the upper lays on the foam, upside down, and the handguards help with support)
This case was also severely drop tested, sort of... on the way into the farm, LT & I took a detour and we hit some rather harsh bumps (going really fast) which bounced the hell out of the case, and scratched up the inside of my Jeep! The upper & lower were still secure in their little home. We have step by step pictures of the building process-- hopefully Bunghole will post them soon (when he gets back from the farm)! |

I just got back from the Farm.
Thanks again to ETH for his generosity for letting us have a great time. I am happy ETH like the gun. I was worried it would slip out what we were doing. I have seen ETH shoot 3 different times now. So I think we will be seeing him shoot much more in the future. Good job energizer! Looks like I also have new photos of TRG to play with, as well as energizer, 1gunrunner, hound, lordtrader, and lets not forget ETH, I have a special idea for you my friend. Bunghole has a photo of you sleeping. I shall wait for that one. |
