An owner unlike Snyder or Jones would be your best bet. Parcells is a very capable coach when he can get what he needs to get from the executive office.
You need your plasi-faced owner to sit the fuck down and shut the fuck up. God, he is a supreme cocksucker! It will be a fight all along the way, if I were Parcells I would get a four year guaranteed contract and then coach two years and tell Jones his choices from the draft sucked ass and make it worth firing him to get him out of Jones' face...... Who cares, you guys need a lot more help than on the sidelines. Ed |

Jones never "runs" the draft, he is the guy in the big chair, with the final decision. BUT, if you've watched inside footage of the "war room" on draft day, he takes time to talk to all the coaches and make it a group decision.
This years draft was incredible and Jones does go after talent. He's learned his lessons with the Cap and will manage it VERY well for the next few years. Parcells would easily work well in that system, but when the boyz start packing in the wins, there could be some personality conflicts there. That's my big concern. |

Yeah....I'm sure with the cameras in there he is candid.....have you seen him when he thinks he is unwatched, vs. when he knows cameras are around?
Like the coaches will dissent as hard with Jones as they would with say Pat Bowlen (sp?) or with Art Modell? Please.... Also, Campo is/was not a GM and probably is an optimist -- seeing the potential and all that bullshit. I think if you had solid GM'ing capabilty and an owner who wasn't a supreme ass you might be better off. I have news for you, Emmitt is still a good back, why not ride him out until the wheels fall off? Why didn't he rush for 1000 yards EASILY this year? Jones wants to break in Hambrick and sell "mid", rather than selling high with Emmitt. If he wanted to get Hambrick in the fold he should have sold off Emmitt back when...... |
