The only one I ever heard of is a 5 round limit when hunting. I called the game management folks on this once and was given the impression if a mag was only loaded with 5 rounds it would still be OK. However, I wouldn't take that chance so I bought one of Bushmaster's 5 round AR15 mags just in case.

No. I own Hi-Cap Mags. I have purchased them in Gunshops, Pawnshops, and Gun Shows. As far as I understand, they are limited only by the Federal Ban on New Hi-Cap. Mags.
