Last night at work I was thinking this very thing.

How far has the Democratic Party fallen?

How's this for an example:

On June 7, 1944 President Franklin Roosevelt lead the country in prayer:

"Almighty God: Our sons, pride of our nations, this day have set upon a mighty endeavor...These men are lately drawn from the ways of peace. They fight not for the lust of conquest. They fight to end conquest. They fight to liberate...They yearn but for the end of battles, for their return to the haven of home. Some will never return. Embrace these, Father, and receive them, Thy heroic servants, into Thy kingdom..."*


Can you imagine the uproar if Pres. Bush were to give a similar prayer today?


It is true. The modern Democratic Party is no longer AMERICAN.
