I am looking for information regarding any differences between state and federal government application of employment regulation. Specifically, Indiana. Any suggestions?

I need to describe how the federal and state systems of government may or may not differ in their application of employment laws. I also need to provide at least one example of an employment protection that is provided by your state system, but not by the federal system.

I am by no means a lawyer but I have been fired before.

As I understand it, if a state is a "right to work" state, an employer can fire anyone, at any time for any reason that does not violate the 1964 Civil Rights Act, i.e. because of their sex or race.

Federal Law is the same way, as I understand it.
