We've got a local guy like that, SOUCALI guys know who I'm talking about.  There's another in San Diego, probably one in every big metro area.

Same deal, he grabs cases and settles them with a phone call or hands them off to a stable of other firms to file suit.

Word is he's never been in a courtroom, but I don't know for sure.

I do know 1.5 million will NOT deter his actions, he makes his money on volume, and could probably write a check for the verdict.

We have one too. He calls himself "The People's Lawyer." Total scuz ball. He was a county supervisor at one time too.

The state bar got him, though.

For those that think this is funny and like to lawyer bash you might want to check this out:

A Beaumont lawyer was shot to death this morning by an elderly man with a shotgun because the lawyer didn't want to take his Asbestos case.
